Are you faced with the task of looking at a thematically coherent area (i.e., domain) in your company as a whole and evaluating it in terms of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, or risks, or planning, systematically pursuing, and implementing changes for this area?

My contribution

In the role of the domain architect, I support you in the architectural development of larger domains in your enterprise. In addition to an as-is architecture analysis and the development of strategic target architectures (e.g. 1 year, 3 years, 5-year target) of selected domains, I help you with the development of domain-specific languages and taxonomies, roadmaps, reference architectures, or architecture patterns.

Furthermore, I support you in the use of domain architectures in the context of strategic, tactical as well as operational architecture planning and development.

At the end of the engagement, there is a comprehensive domain architecture description including as-is and to-be architecture, roadmap, architecture patterns, or reference architectures. After the introduction of the domain architecture, I am happy to accompany the operationalization of the developed architecture and its use for improved decision-making in your company.
